How does one make better than minor repairs to their armor?

Oops, that will need to be fixed. Players cannot repair their own armor but there are many magical means to repair and replenish you armor points in-game.

Before spending a lot of XP on the skill Im going to ask a question I know you may not be able to answer but ill try anyway.

On a scale of 1-10 how common is it to find these magical things that repair your armor? Maintaining, transporting, and wearing armor is a huge PitS, if it is super difficult to repair, id just as soon not bother buying the skill and bringing my phys rep if it is one of those "Good for the first few hits Friday night" type deals. Which it has been in some games i have played.


Also, if you bought a job from the common list such as "Blacksmith" or "armorer" could you repair armor?

No those "job" skills, aside form the pay, are for RP purposes only. Sometimes something may require a smith but every day repairs, in the field would be too time consuming.

Repairing armor in game is simple. The General Store is rumored to have a magical hammer and anvil that can make fairly rapid repairs of a weapon and armor. Armor should be simple to come by.
